These terms cover your use of Kaalchakra, operated by KAALCHAKRA SYSTEMS (OPC) PRIVATE LIMITED. By using the service you agree to them.
01The service
Kaalchakra is a business accounting and inventory platform. It helps you keep records, produce documents, manage stock, and send documents to the people you trade with.
02Your account
You are responsible for keeping your login details private and for anything done through your account. Tell us promptly at support@kaalchakra.net if you think someone else has access.
You must give accurate registration details, and keep them current.
03Your records are yours
The business records you enter remain yours. We store and process them so the platform can do its job. We do not sell them, and we do not use them for advertising.
You can export your records at any time.
04What you agree not to do
- Use Kaalchakra to break the law
- Try to reach another business's records
- Interfere with the service or attempt to disrupt it
- Send messages to people who have not agreed to receive them
- Resell or redistribute the service without our written agreement
05Messaging
Where you use Kaalchakra to send documents to your customers over WhatsApp or by any other channel, you are the sender. The message goes out under your business name, and you are responsible for it.
That means:
- Only send to people who have agreed. Kaalchakra records that agreement against each customer, along with the date and the exact wording they were shown. Do not record an agreement that was not actually given.
- Honour a refusal immediately. A customer who replies STOP is suppressed at once, on our side, without you having to do anything. Do not attempt to work around that.
- Send business documents, not marketing. This channel is for invoices, statements, receipts and similar records of a transaction between you and that customer.
- The content is yours. We do not write, review or approve the documents you send.
Messaging channels are operated by third parties, and they set their own rules about what may be sent. If a channel suspends or limits your ability to send, we will tell you, but we cannot overrule their decision.
06Fees
Charges, if any apply to your account, are shown to you before they are incurred and are billed to the business, not to individual users. Taxes are charged as required by law.
If a payment is not made, we may suspend access until it is. We will tell you before we do, and suspension does not delete your records.
07Availability
We work to keep Kaalchakra available, but we do not promise it will never be unavailable. Maintenance, a fault, or a failure at a third party we depend on can interrupt it. Where we plan an interruption, we will give notice where we reasonably can.
08Changes to the service
We improve Kaalchakra continuously, so screens and features change. Where a change removes something you rely on, we will tell account holders before it happens.
09Ending your account
You may close your account at any time. Export your records first — see the data deletion page for what happens to them afterwards.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, that is being used unlawfully, or that puts the service or other customers at risk. Except where the law or an immediate risk prevents it, we will tell you first and give you a chance to put it right.
10Our responsibility, and its limits
We take care to keep your records accurate and available, and nothing here limits any liability that Indian law does not permit us to limit — including liability for fraud.
Beyond that: Kaalchakra is a tool you use to keep your own books. You remain responsible for the accuracy of what you enter, for your own tax filings, and for the decisions you take from your reports. We are not your accountant and we do not give accounting, tax or legal advice.
We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, goodwill or anticipated savings. Where we are liable, our total liability in any twelve-month period is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in that period.
11Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Jaipur, Rajasthan have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
12Changes to these terms
If we change these terms we will update the date at the top. Where a change materially affects your rights, we will tell account holders directly before it takes effect.
