Cash Flow
Where your money came from and where it went over a period — the movement of cash, not the profit on paper.
Reports → Cash Flow follows the actual money: what came in, what went out, and the net change in your cash and bank position over a period. It is the report that explains the gap between *I made a profit* and *so why is the account empty?*
Reading it well
- Inflows are your collections and other money received; outflows are payments made.
- The net figure is how much your cash position rose or fell across the period.
- Pair it with Profit & Loss: profit measures performance, cash flow measures survival.
Watch the trend, not one month
A single tight month is normal. A run of months where cash keeps falling while sales look fine is the early warning every owner wants to catch.
