Quick Actions — small jobs from any page
A pop-up launcher that lets you add or edit an item or a party, set a discount, or glance at a ledger without leaving the page you are on.
Some jobs are small and interrupt whatever you are doing — you are half-way through a bill and realise the item was never created, or a customer's phone number is wrong. Quick Actions is a pop-up that does those small jobs from wherever you are, then closes and drops you back where you were.
Open it
- Click the grid icon in the top bar (next to the assistant and messages icons).
- Or press Alt + Q on a keyboard — from any page.
- It opens as a calm pop-up in the middle of the screen. Press Esc or click outside to close it.
You only see it if your role allows it
Quick Actions is a right that can be turned on or off per person. If the grid icon is missing for you but a colleague has it, ask whoever manages your team's access rights.
What's inside

One tab does both — add and edit
The Item and Party services open ready to find and fix something that already exists. Start typing a name and pick it from the list — its details load so you can change any field and save.

Search to edit
Type a name, alias, phone or code. Use the ↑ and ↓ keys to move through matches and press Enter to open one for editing.

Add a new one
Nothing matches? Press F2 on a keyboard, or tap the + New button, to start a fresh record from what you typed.

Save
When you add, only the essentials are required — for an item that is just its Name and Unit; for a party, just the Name. Everything else is optional and can be filled later.
Add many in a row
After you add an item or party, the group and a couple of common fields stay filled so you can rattle off a batch of similar records quickly.
The search finds it as you type
Every search box shows live matches from your own data — you do not need the exact spelling. The keys are the same everywhere: ↑ ↓ to move, Enter to pick, F2 to add a new one instead.
Move around with the keyboard

Look for the small ⓘ next to a heading or field. Hover or tap it to see the shortcuts and tips for exactly what you are doing right then.
First-time walkthrough
The first time you open Quick Actions, a short welcome explains it and offers a guided walk-through that points out each area. You can skip it, and reopen it any time from the Guide button at the top of the pop-up.
Saved here, same as everywhere
An item, party or discount you create in Quick Actions is exactly the same as one made on its full Masters page — it shows up everywhere immediately.
