TDS deductions
Set up the tax-deduction heads — section and rate — that drive your TDS workflow and the TDS report.
The TDS Deductions master (Masters → TDS Deductions) holds the deduction heads you work with — each one a section and the rate at which tax is to be deducted. Defining them here means the TDS report and your deductions stay consistent instead of being remembered case by case.
Add a deduction head

Open Masters → TDS Deductions and choose Add
Enter the section, a clear description, and the applicable rate.

Save
The head is ready to use, and the TDS report will reflect it.
