Item ledger, bank reconciliation & account registers
Operational reports for stock movement, bank statement matching, and per-account activity across all document types.
Item Ledger
Reports → Item Ledger is the stock movement story of one item: every inward and outward entry with quantities and the running balance. Use it when physical stock and book stock disagree — the discrepancy's date is in this list.
Bank Reconciliation
Reports → Bank Reconciliation is the reconciliation console for one bank account. It lists your bank-ledger entries so you can tick off the ones the bank has cleared; what remains is your reconciliation: deposits in transit, unpresented payments, and anything that needs a voucher.
Bank Statement Reconciliation
Reports → Bank Statement Reconciliation does the ticking for you. Pick a bank account, then upload the statement your bank gives you — a PDF, a spreadsheet, or an Excel file — and every line is read and matched against your own vouchers by reference number, amount, and date. Review the matches, clear them all in one click, and you are left with two short worklists: bank movements you have not recorded yet (charges, interest, direct debits) and vouchers the bank has not processed yet.
You can add as many statements as you like to a bank account — one per month or per quarter — and each one is kept, so you can come back and reconcile it again whenever you want. Tick the statements you want to work with and reconcile a single one, several, or all of them together; overlapping months are matched once, never twice. Remove any statement you no longer need from the list.
Find what you need without scrolling
Click a column heading — Amount, Match, Confidence, or Status — to filter that column, or use the quick buttons for “Didn't tie”, “Uncleared only”, and “Needs review”. Switch to the side-by-side view to see each bank line lined up against the voucher it cleared. Everything you tick to clear still goes through your normal reconciliation, so nothing is posted for you.
It self-checks as it reads
As the statement is read, each line's running balance is verified against the one above it. Any line that doesn't tie is flagged for you to look at before you clear anything, so a mis-read never silently clears the wrong entry — click the “Didn't tie” button to see exactly those lines.
Account Registers
Transactions → Account Registers lists everything recorded against one account across all document types — sales, purchases, vouchers, notes — in one stream. It is the operational cousin of the Account Ledger: less accounting formality, more “show me everything with this party.”
Reconcile monthly
A month's bank reconciliation takes minutes; a year's takes a weekend. Small, regular, boring — that's the trick.
